The respect for the environment is taken seriously by our company that is concerned about the increasing deforestation. Therefore, Fundição Batatais maintains project of planting seedlings for conservation of water sources/headwaters area. In addition, it reuses much of the waste from its production process, discarding the waste not reusable on special landfills sites accredited with the environmental agencies.
Social responsibility
We maintain strong partnership with city schools and always seek for new talent that stands out in these institutions, whether for permanent contracts or for internship programs and apprenticeship. This helps to reinforce the interest of the young society in these institutions and keeps alive the learning cycle. Since they are in our company, we invest strongly in training and qualification. We believe that regardless of the time that these young people will continue in our company, it is also our duty to help them in their formation for a better life in society.
In addition, we are active and participative in relevant issues in the community, collaborating assiduously with several local charities.
